Using Wix came with two large challenges. The first challenge was that I had to come to terms with the fact that I would be using Wix. The second challenge was actually using Wix.

Wix is incredibly slow on every machine I’ve used it on. It bugs out on Chrome and only works relatively well with Firefox. Wix flatout has zero support for Microsoft Edge and I’m not even going to open Internet Explorer.

When it comes to Wix, I hate having everything done for me. I feel that I have zero control over how I want my website to look, but I have the idea of how I want it to look in my head. With Wix, that idea just will not become a reality.

WordPress isn’t just great as a blogging platform. It’s also an incredibly great way to design websites that look and feel better than Wix. Not to mention you can do so without fighting the software you’re paying for or trying out. Static pages in WordPress allow for much more than Wix has to offer.
